Hello everyone!
We are turning 30 this year and our marriage is turning 3! Hurrayyy!
We have been spending the past 3 years of our marriage travelling around the world and lazying at home. Oh we have jobs but thats not our main focus in life during those years lol!
This year we have decided to have a baby. Yes it will be a final shove to adulthood but mentally we are both prepared.
However, our journey to parenthood is not so smooth. :(
We have been trying for a baby since last year so that we can become parents in 2014 but up to now there's no good news.
We were so worried that something was wrong so we went for a checkup last year in April to check whether everything is fine.
The results: They cannot find anything wrong with both of us. Our case is termed as unexplained infertility.
So last year in September and December we tried SO-IUI at kkh.
Both tries failed. :(
It was very discouraging and as i researched on the success rate of iui, i realised that it was very small.
After the 2nd failed attempt we decided to move on to the next step which is IVF. IVF has a higher success rate!
We will be starting our IVF in May and would want to document this important journey! Its quite exciting for us!
I have decided to prioritise this instead of my career and foresee taking a lot of MCs/hospitalisation leave throughout the process. I hope my employer understands my need to contribute to the population hahahah!
